Due diligence includes review of business references, licensing and insurance status, workplace safety practices, and data security practices.
For work performed under government contracts, subcontractors must maintain all licenses, bonds, and insurance required; comply with OSHA and applicable workplace safety requirements; maintain SAM.gov registration if required; certify absence of debarment or suspension from federal contracting; comply with applicable labor laws including prevailing wage requirements; and submit to audit upon reasonable notice.
